Motion to approve minutes of February 8th 2018 meeting by Scott Thomson, Seconded by Steve Ash
$460 Treasurers Report ($20 anon donation this meeting)
Shirts.. need artist submissions.
Idea; give the task to art students at local schools... Spend $25 on a gift card for winning design. Steve Seconds that idea. All in favor. Lisa Will persue.
Question: Possible pizza party.

Motion by Steve to open the submission for art up to the entire North Tonawanda community. Seconded by Scott . All in favor, 5 all opposed 2. Running it in parrallel.

CHANT updates us on their efforts.
Steve Ash: Town Hall meeting for CHANT in June, discusses number of opioid deaths doubed. Asks what we can do. Lisa discusses the environmental and cultural issues about what needs to change.
Leslie asks about education, and a push for parent education. Lisa replies that they are making a push for parent education.
Steve Ash asked where the venue for the town hall meeting. Spruce was suggested and as a place which is outdoor and food trucks might attract people.
Pastor Dave brought up Charles from the Operation of the Golden Rule, and mentioned.
Sonia mentioend that Erie County is giving money for tips of drug dealers.
Leslie said that if we want to stop the deaths we need to help the users.
Lisa was a hospital chaplin.
Sonia brought up community involvement and suggested that as neighborhoosd watch we need to be connected.
Bob Brings up Lumber Baron District. It is an incentive to assist homeowners with maintenance. Not related to People Inc. But cant move forward, needs another $5-6000 for study. NIAgara Community Action Program helps North Tonawanda Residents for home repairs. Offers $3500, NIACAP offers more money.
Bob will email me a link and I will put it on the website for what NIACAP does. Steve asks for donations for NIACAP. All sorts of donations, food and everything.
Steve Ash: Asks Leslie if she will be able to continue as treasurer. She will.
Pastor Dave discusses the hub and all the different programs in the church.
March 21st is the next Community Action Hub for services at the church.
Hearts and Hands was brought up again. 80 people in NT who need rides. 5 or 6 people who signed up to give rides.
Scott Brings up FLIR Testing for fire safety in relation to NIACAP.
Steve provides a hope and recovery number to put on the website.
Scott Makes Motion to end the meeting, Bob seconds. 8:30pm.
